“It was a beautiful night on 4th September 1944. (…). I entered the cottage, closed the shutters and lay down. Apparently, I fell asleep straight away, which hardly ever happened for me. Suddenly, there was a knocking at the door. I thought it was a dream, but someone was actually tapping. It wa nighttime and someone was knocking!”. This is a passge from the introduction to the latest edition of the album, which is a quote from the story of Mieczysław Faryniak (1903-1990), who hid the Rajc Jewish family Dursztynskie-Skałki.
