Zofia Bajkowska, the Righteous Among the Nations has passed away
On February 11th, 2010 Zofia Bajkowska, Righteous Among the Nations from Wroclaw, died at the age of 87 after severe illness.

She was awarded with a title of the Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem in 1981.
On the May 7th, 2010 she supposed to be granted a Honorary Citizenship of Israel from the hands of the Israeli Ambassador in Poland, Zvi Rav-Ner. However, in this situation , Henryka Maniowska, the daughter Zofia Bajkowska and her granddaughter, Magdalena Jaskólska will be decorated instead.
