Three new Righteous honoured
On August 20th, 2009 in Otwock near Warsaw Jadwiga and Mieczyslaw Dańko and parish priest Ludwik Wolski will be decorated posthumously by the Israeli Ambassador Zvi Rav-Ner with the Righteous medal.

Thanks to Dańko's selfless help Tamara Weczer-Goldenhar and her three little children: Aleksander, Zbyszek and Miriam survived the war. Father Wolski, parish priest of Saint Wincent á Paulo in Otwock helped save lifes of many children and adults by providing them with fake birth certificates. Two of the Survivors that owe him his life will be present during the Otwock ceremony: Michele Donnet from France and Dan Landsberg from Israel.
