During the occupation, Kazimierz Bogucki lived at ul. Strażacka 5, in Lublin. In 1941 he gave shelter to a 7-year-old Jewish girl, whose assumed name was Regina Dziedzio. In October 1941, Kazimierz helped a Jewish woman hiding as Janina Czaplińska. He took her from Warsaw to Lublin and found her a job.
