Scholarships for students conducting research on the Righteous Among the Nations at the University of Haifa

As a part of its International MA Programme in Holocaust Studies, the University of Haifa offers two scholarships of 3,500 USD for conducting research on the Righteous Among the Nations.

Students applying for the scholarship must be enrolled on the International Programme in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa and start their studies in September 2012. In order to obtain the scholarship, it is required to take Track A of the studies, the goal of which is to write an academic thesis. The students are required to choose a subject related to people who rescued Jews during WWII.

The applicants are asked to write a letter supporting their decision to apply for the scholarship.

In order for the application to be considered, the students are required to finish the enrolment process for the Programme before 15 April 2012.

The scholarships will be given to outstanding students according to several academic and administrative criteria, as well as their financial status. The applications will by reviewed by an academic commission and confirmed by the Graduate Studies Authority.
