KD/LK, 16 November 2016
On August 12-13th 2009 in Rymanów in Podkarpacie region took place the 2nd Remembrance Days of local Jewish community.

One of the main topics of celebrations organized by the Association "Rymanów Meeting" were the Righteous Among the Nations, who were saving Jews during the Second World War. For those who died trying to save Jews special ecumenical prayers were said. There was also a meeting with rescuers and survivers and an interesting lecture in the synagogue which is being renovated now.

Tha Association organized guided tours at the Cemetery. Many viewers were present during the screening of "Hiding and Seeking. Faith and Tolerance After Holocaust". This famous documentary co-directed and narrated by Menachem Daum tells a personal story of rescue and the complicated relations that followed after the war:

On 13th August foreign and Polish guests took part in a Memory March on the last way from Rymanów ghetto. In the evening there was a concert of the famous Kroke Klezmer Band from Kraków.
