The Righteous – Ryszard Matuszewski died
On 29th April Ryszard Matuszewski, the essayist and literary critic has passed away. He was 86.

In 1992 Ryszard and his wife, Beata were awarded with the title of the Righteous Among the Nations.
Apart from rescuing Jews during the occupation, he was also writing for the underground press and organizing clandestine literary activities.
