Story of Rescue - Ney Julian

Julian Ney was a doctor in Jaśle in the Podkarpacie region. When the Germans occupied the town, they opened a ghetto for the Jewish population. Julian lived in a house that was connecte to the ghetto area. In responses to his pleadings, the Germans permitted him to remain in the house and there he treated those locked in the ghetto. During a visit to a sick Jew, Ney met her daughter, Sara, a teacher in Jaśle. Together with a friend, Anną Bogdanowicz,they decided to save the girl. Arrested in  Aresztowany in the autumn of 1942, he was put into the Jaśle prison and, there, he was tortured to death. Sara Diller survived.
