No one knows the location of his grave. When he was arrested in April 1943, the Jews he had been hiding were no longer at his house, as they had already been taken in by the Garbuliński family, acquaintances from the village. However they were sold out to the Germans in early April. It remains unknown whether they couldn’t endure the torture and named Owca, or if someone knew about his actions before hand and betrayed him, as the Garbulińskis were killed by the Germans.
Several Germans and policemen came for Stanisław. The circumstances of his death are unknown. There are no detailed accounts of the help he gave to members of the Elfenbein family.
