“The Rescued” – a film about Holocaust survivors

The film tells the stories of a number of Polish Jews, Holocaust survivors who are now senior citizens living in both Poland and Israel.

They tell a dramatic tale of their wartime fates and of the events that bear testimony to both the immense human kindness and sacrifice as well as to the evil that men do when their darker side reveals itself.

The film was created by Joanna Król and Karolina Dzięciołowska within the framework of a project implemented by our Museum.
