Henryk Sławik: The Great Forgotten Hero of Three Nations

On December 2 at 5 PM in the Hungarian Embassy in Warsaw GRZEGORZ GŁUBCZYK will present his book "Henryk Sławik. The Great Forgotten Hero of Three Nations".

During the Second World War Henryk Sławik, a Silesian, representing the Polish Government in Exile helped thousands of Polish refugees in Hungary. In 1977 he was awarded the medal of the Righteous Among the Nations by the Yad Vashem Institute for saving the lives of more than five thousand Polish Jews.
