"Report 2016: The Righteous" - a New Educational Program from the Marek Edelman Centre for Dialogue
The quarterly is compiled by senior high school students in Łódż, under the guidance of specialists in this field. The aim of the project is to generate interest, amongst young people, in the stories of these heroes of World War II and, through them, in the values of courage and sacrifice.
The publication contains stories of aid, along with interviews with the witnessesto this history. It will also contain announcements of events linked to the project. Throughout 2016, the young people involved in this project will contribute towards exhibitions, film screenings and lectures, all connected with the topic of providing aid to Jews during the Holocaust.
Copies of the quarterly can be obtained, free of charge, from many cultural institutions, among them being the Ulma Family Museum of Poles Rescuing Jews During the Holocaust in Markowa, the Jan Karsky Foundation and the Marek Edelman Centre for Dialogue. It is also available online HERE.
