Ceremony at the Ghetto Heroes Monumeny - 19th April at 12 noon

Among those taking part will be Symcha Ratajzer-Rotem (pseudonym "Kazik"), one of the last living survovors of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, as well as Professor Władysław Bartoszewski,

Following the ceremony, flowers will be laid at the Ghetto Heroes monument, the Żegota monument, at the Szmul Zygielbojm monument, at the Anielewicz bunker, at the Umschlagplatz, at the Paweł Frenkel plaque at ul.Muranowska 1 and also at the Ghetto enclave at ul.Sienna 55.

The Daffodil Campaign, 19th April 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

The third social-educational Daffodil Campaign is organised by the Museum POLIN on the anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Around 800 volunteers distribute paper daffodils on the streets of Warsaw - a symbol of remembrance of the Warsaw ghetto fighters. Numerous Warsaw schools, as well as institutions outside Warsaw and Poland take part in this event.

An Exhibition: My Jewish Parents. My Polish Parents  16th April to 29th June

The exhibition describes the fate of fifteen children born between 1939 and 1942. They survived thanks to the boundless parental love which they received from the hands of strangers, thanks as well to the courage of people who treated these children as their own.

The exhibition will be open from 17th April until 29th June 2015 is open daily, except for Tuesdays during the Museum POLIN's opening hours. Admission is free.

Exhibition organisers: Association of Children of the Holocaust in Poland. This project has been prepared in cooperation with the Museum POLIN, thanks to support from the Polish representative of the Róża Luksemburg Foundation.

Concert - Symphonia Varsovia, 19th April 7:00 pm

As part of the 72nd anniversary commemorations of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Symphonia Varsovia will be led by one of the greatest experts in the music of Mieczysław Weinberg, Gabriel Chmura.

Moja orazy są trochę szare (My Pictures are a Little Grey), 21st April, 8:15 pm

The premiere screening of the latest film by Agnieszka Arnold, the creator of many provocative documentary films.

The film is an intimate meeting with the painter Gina Rotem Olmer, a Jewish child survivor from Poland who now lives in Israel. The painter is the wife of Symcha Ratajzer-Rotem (pseudonym "Kazik"), about whom Arnold created the film "Rotem" two years ago.

A Thematic Walk Through the Permanent Exhibition - 11th, 12th, 25th, 26th April, 4:00 pm.

Marking the 72nd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, a walk the Jewish Street (1918-1939) Gallery, presenting the life of a pre-War Polish city. We will describe the lives of the Jewish youth who later formed the ranks of ŻOB - the Jewish Fighting Organisation.
