, 16 November 2016
The Museum of the History of Polish Jews and the Warsaw Rising Museum are looking for volunteers to help during events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

This April marks the 70th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. To commemorate the events of 1943, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, in cooperation with the Warsaw Rising Museum, is preparing a socio-educational campaign entitled “Daffodils”, dedicated to the memory of the uprising’s heroes.

In April, we will distribute paper daffodils, symbolizing the memory of the insurgents from the Warsaw Ghetto – on the streets of Warsaw.

We are looking for volunteers to become involved in this special project from March 1st to May 31st. Apart from the social campaign, the commemorative program will include a large variety of cultural events: concerts, debates and screenings of films about the uprising and its heroes.
