Festive Charity Event for the Righteous to be Held in Kraków
This charitable event has been organised by the Jewish Initiative for the Righteous, which has been raising funds for many years, together with SIMKHA Dom - Poles Supporting Israel. The event is to honour the Righteous and to ensure that they are supported financially. All are welcome to attend the event.
The event invitation reads "Support the Righteous, be a part of history before it becomes just a page in a book".
Among those present will be Niusia Karakulska-Horowitz, the last person, living in Poland, who was saved by Oskar Schindler. Event participants will also have the opportunity to visit Oskar Schindler's factory.
Honorary Patrons of the event are Chief Rabbi of Poland, Rabbi Michael Schudrich and the "Child of the Holocaust" Association of Poland.
The event will take place on Sunday, 18th September 2016, commencing at 1:00pm in Kraków. The venue will be the "Industrial Restaurant", at ul. Lipowa 4a.
