The story of rescue from the Warsaw Zoo and the hiding place in the Żak family’s apartment inspired students to prepare their films. We invite to watch these footages. Films were produced as a result of work of Polish and Israeli students under the auspices of the student exchange program launched by the Museum of the History of Polish Jews.

WE ARE ALL HUMANS

Dana Yarkechy and Erez Atias, students of journalism at the University of Tel-Aviv, decided to make their footage in English, because in this language Poles and Israelis communicate. The footage is prepared in a style of TV news. The audience can learn about the exchange program, its participants and the main subject of the workshops held in Poland. Colourful pictures from different districts of Warsaw and performances group's activity provides a special flavour.

WHAT DOES A 'HOME' MEAN TO YOU?

Gili Shavit, Michał Ruciński, Paulina Górska and Mor Greif inspired by the story of "Righteous Among the Nations" Jan and Antonina Żabiński decided to check how many people know about the story of rescue that happened the Warsaw Zoo. Students focused on very fundamental issues important in life or every human being. Their interlocutors discuss concepts of "home", "safety" and "dignity".
