6th Irena Sendler “Repairing the World” Award

Nominations are being accepted, until 10th June 2012, for the 6th Irena Sendler “Repairing the World” Award. Presentation of the award is open to primary and post-primary educators who teach and instil a spirit of tolerance and respect for others, and who also play an active role in their school or local community.The Award was initiated by the Association of “Children of the Holocaust” in Poland and the American “Life in a Jar” Foundation. The contest is organised by the Centre for Citizenship Education.
