New TV series about the Righteous Among the Nations
“The Righteous” is a 7-episode serial which takes place during the Second World War, it tells a story about the Poles who risked their lives to help Jews to survive the war. The serial’s main character is a young nurse named Basia who is active in an underground Council to Aid Jews- "Żegota".

The serial stars Anna Dereszowska, Wojciech Pszoniak, Borys Szyc, Jan Englert and many other well-known actors. It was directed by Waldemar Krzystek and produced by Telewizja Polska S.A.
Premiere on 11th April at 21.10 on Chanel 1 TVP.
