The Righteous one in Canada
A ceremony of honouring Zbigniew Zakrzewski as Righteous Among the Nations for saving Brunia Rubinowicz-Glass during the Holocaust will be held on Wednesday, 3rd of March at 6:30 p.m. at 66, Sheppard Avenue West in Toronto. Mr. Marek Zakrzewski will accept the medal and certificate on behalf of his late father.

The ceremony is organised by The Canadian Society for Yad Vashem together with the Consulate of Israel. The event is sponsored by a Retirement Residence ‘Kensington Place’ and El Al airlines.
Participants in the ceremony will include the representatives of the Polish Consulate.
