The Righteous Included in "Attitudes Against Violence" Course
Anti-discrimination workshops and meetings conducted during the course allowed participants to broaden their knowledge and abilities to recognise discrimination and to react to hate-speech. The course also served as a platform which facilitated discussion and the exchange of ideas.
On 13th March 2017, at the POLIN Museum, course participants met with the curators of a virtual exhibition to be created as part of "The Polish Righteous - Restoring Memory" project. The exhibition will be dedicated to the contemporary Righteous - individuals who, during the 20th and 21st centuries, in the face of wars and totalitarianism, defended human dignity and freedom of speech, and who actively opposed evil. The exhibition's curators, Karolina Dzięciołowska and Klara Jackl, described the basis for the exhibition and described the figures of those who will be included within it. They also conducted a workshop and discussion on the concept of the "Righteous", the ways by which they are honoured and the benefits of conducting educational activities aimed at adults and young people.
The virtual exhibition will open in June 2017 on our website: www.sprawiedliwi.org.pl.
